Transfers around Catalonia

Catalonia is the region we started with, and our network is at its densest here: close to a hundred routes from seven pick-up points. These are the airports of Barcelona, Girona and Reus, the cruise ports of Barcelona and Tarragona, Barcelona Sants station and the city itself.

The coast splits into two halves, and the choice of airport follows from that. North of Barcelona lies the Costa Brava: Lloret, Tossa, Blanes, Platja d'Aro, Begur, and further on Cadaques and Figueres with its Dali museum. From Barcelona airport the drive takes between one and two hours, but from Girona it is noticeably shorter - half an hour to Lloret, a little more to Platja d'Aro. If you are flying to the Costa Brava, look at flights into Girona first.

South of the city the Costa Daurada begins. Sitges lies half an hour from Barcelona airport, beyond it Tarragona with its Roman amphitheatre above the sea, Salou with the PortAventura park, Cambrils and the Ebro delta. Reus airport is closer for these destinations: twenty minutes to Salou against a little over an hour from Barcelona. In practice, though, most people still fly into Barcelona - Reus handles mainly seasonal low-cost airlines, there are few flights, and in winter the schedule thins out altogether. Catalonia is varied: besides the sea you can head into the mountains or into antiquity. The monastery of Montserrat stands on its cliffs an hour from Barcelona, the Penedes and Priorat wine regions are about the same distance away, and the Val d'Aran is already in the Pyrenees. Andorra stands apart: almost three hours on the road, in winter towards the slopes of Grandvalira and Pas de la Casa, in summer towards the hiking trails. Catalonia is convenient because everything is close: an hour or an hour and a half from Barcelona puts you either on the coast, or in the mountains, or in a Roman town. We drive to any of these destinations at a fixed price per car - it is known when you book and does not change because of traffic or a night-time pick-up. The driver follows your flight number and moves the pick-up himself if the plane is late. The first hour of waiting at the airport, at the cruise port and at the station is included, a child seat is free in every class, and you can cancel without a penalty up to 24 hours before the car arrives.
