What's included in every transfer

What awaits you at PortAventura

A day trip or an overnight stay. The drive from Barcelona to PortAventura takes ~1 hr 23 min. You can certainly go there and back in a day, but everyone will be tired by the evening, and the children will probably fall asleep in the car before you even reach Tarragona. That is why many families stay the night at one of the resort hotels or in neighbouring Salou. In the morning there is no journey to make: you have breakfast and walk into the park for opening time.

Three parks. There are three parks on the resort site. The largest, PortAventura Park, is divided into themed zones. Next to it is Ferrari Land, which most people come to for Red Force - a coaster 112 metres high, one of the tallest in Europe. The third park, the Caribe water park, opens only in the warm season. The parks stand a few hundred metres apart, but each has its own entrance. Say which one you are heading for when you book, and the driver will bring you straight to the gates you need.

Tickets for Ferrari Land. Bear in mind that a standard PortAventura Park ticket is not valid at Ferrari Land. You need a separate ticket for it, or a combined one covering both parks at once. It is worth buying them in advance on the official site: there are often queues at the ticket windows, and you do not want to lose time there on the day of your trip.

The journey back. A transfer is a one-way ride. If you want to return to Barcelona the same day, book two transfers at once, out and back, and choose a convenient time for each. And if you need the driver at your disposal all day, for example to stop for dinner in Salou in the evening, then take a car with a driver by the hour. You can book it for a minimum of three hours.

How long is the drive from Barcelona to PortAventura?

Which PortAventura entrance will the driver come to?

Whichever one you name when you book. The resort has three sites: PortAventura Park, Ferrari Land and the Caribe water park, and each has its own entrance.

Can I arrange pick-up at any address in Barcelona?

Yes: a hotel, a flat, an apartment or an office. Enter the pick-up point when you book.

Will the driver wait while we are at PortAventura?

Not on a standard transfer: the driver drops you off and leaves. To have the car at your disposal all day, book a car with a driver by the hour, from three hours.

How do I get back from PortAventura to Barcelona in the evening?

With a second transfer booked for the return time. Book both trips at once: in the evening there are a lot of people trying to leave from the park gates, and a free car is harder to find.

Is the transfer price per person or per car?

Per car. The fare covers the whole car and everyone in it: two of you or four of you pay the same.

Are toll roads included in the transfer price?

No. Toll sections are paid for separately from the fare.

How long does the driver wait free of charge at the pick-up address?

15 minutes from the agreed time. If you are running late, message us in the chat.

Will a pushchair fit in the car?

Yes. In a Van the pushchair goes in alongside the suitcases; choose that class when you book.

Are there child seats in the car?

Yes, free of charge in any class. A seat is required for children up to and including 135 cm; tick the option when you book.
