Transfer from the cruise port to Sitges
42 km south along the sea, ~40 min. People make this trip in two cases: staying on for a few days after the cruise, or spending a port day outside Barcelona.
By public transport it is the port shuttle to the gates, on foot or by bus to Plaça de Catalunya or Sants, then the suburban train along the coast. Three legs with luggage. The driver meets you at the terminal exit and takes you straight to the hotel.

What awaits you in Sitges
Seventeen beaches along three kilometres of seafront, with a church on the rock between two of them. Behind the seafront is a compact old town of white houses and narrow lanes.
The town has been an artists' colony since the nineteenth century. Santiago Rusiñol turned his house on the seafront into the Cau Ferrat museum, and the Maricel museum stands next door. Both are five minutes from the beach.
It is also one of the most openly gay-friendly towns on the coast, which sets the mood on the seafront in summer and fills the town completely during the February carnival.
A port day, or a few days after
If it is a port day, the return time matters most. Boarding closes well before the ship sails, and we count the return pick-up from that, not from the sailing time.
Give the name of the ship. Barcelona has two cruise zones and six terminals in the main one; we will confirm the berth rather than guess.
The streets of the old town are narrow. Some lanes are pedestrian; give the exact address and the driver will get as close as the street allows.
The carnival in February and the film festival in October fill the whole town, and the approach roads are slower on those days.
