A transfer to Palafrugell and its coves on the Costa Brava. Fixed price, no changes.

Palafrugell lies in the very heart of the Costa Brava, 135 km from Barcelona airport. The town itself stands a few kilometres inland, and three coastal villages belong to it, each with its own cove: Calella de Palafrugell, Llafranc and Tamariu. The drive takes about 1 hour 40 minutes, and the price, from €178, is shown before you book.
We track your flight and wait 60 minutes free of charge from the moment your plane actually lands.
Your total is set when you book, and neither night journeys nor traffic will change it.
No trains, no buses, no metro with suitcases in tow. Your holiday starts the moment you get in the car.
The price is for the whole car, not per passenger. It is fixed when you book and does not change because of traffic, night hours or a delayed flight.

Booked a transfer from El Prat Airport to our hotel in the Gothic Quarter and it was flawless. The driver was waiting for us at arrivals with a name sign, helped with the luggage, and the price was exactly what the app showed, no surprises, no meter running. After a long flight, it was such a relief to just get in the car and go. Booking took me literally two minutes on the app, no calls, no back-and-forth. Highly recommend ☺️

Three villages by the sea. Palafrugell itself lies inland, a few kilometres from the shore. On the coast it has Calella de Palafrugell, Llafranc and Tamariu, each with its own cove. Choose where to stay by the kind of holiday you want: by the water, or in town, which means driving to the beach.
Calella de Palafrugell. This used to be Palafrugell's fishing and trading port. White houses stand right by the water, with small beaches and rocks between them. Next to the village, above the sea, lie the Cap Roig gardens: they were laid out in 1927, and their symbol, the castle, is built from local iron-rich stone. From early July to mid-August the gardens host the Cap Roig music festival.
Llafranc and the Sant Sebastià lighthouse. The next cove along is Llafranc, with a sandy beach and moorings for boats. On the headland above it stands the Sant Sebastià lighthouse, built in the 19th century. From the lighthouse you can see the whole bay of Llafranc.
Tamariu. The village lies further north, in a cove surrounded by pine trees. A promenade lined with low white houses runs along the beach. People come here for a quiet day by the sea.
A cork town. Palafrugell grew up around cork making: the first workshops here are recorded in the 18th century. The Cork Museum (Museu del Suro) is housed in the former Can Mario modernista factory and tells the story of the cork industry. The writer Josep Pla was born in Palafrugell, and his house is now home to a foundation bearing his name.
The road from the airport. From Barcelona airport the route heads north to the central Costa Brava. There are no toll sections on the usual route: the AP-7 has been toll-free since 2021. The driver meets you at the airport and takes you to your hotel in town or in one of the villages by the sea.

The transfer costs from €178 per car in the most affordable class, Econom for 3 passengers. The calculator shows the prices for Eco, Business, Van, Premium and Bus before you book. The price is per car and fixed when you book.
The price is for the whole car, not per person. Business seats 3 passengers, and Van takes up to 7. Choose the car class by the number of passengers and how much luggage you have.
The drive takes about 1 hour 40 minutes and covers 135 km. In summer the trip can take longer near the Costa Brava resorts, but the transfer price does not change: it is fixed when you book.
Yes, the transfer takes you to any address in Calella de Palafrugell, Llafranc and Tamariu. Enter the exact address of your hotel or house, and the calculator will show the price before you book.
Yes, Moventis line 1 (run by Sarfa) goes from T2 and T1 via Barcelona Nord bus station to Palafrugell bus station with no changes. From T1 it takes about three hours, with 6 departures on weekdays, 10:25 to 19:55. A ticket from T1 costs €24.15; times are on the Moventis website.
Palafrugell bus station is in town, not by the sea. A local Sarfa bus runs to Calella, Llafranc and Tamariu for €1.90, but not all year round: it does not appear in the Moventis timetable for October to December 2026.
There is no direct train. You can take a commuter train to Sants station, then a train to Girona, and then a Sarfa bus to Palafrugell. That means two changes, so with luggage the direct bus from the airport or a transfer is more convenient.
They are two different places. Calella de Palafrugell is on the Costa Brava and belongs to Palafrugell. Calella on the Maresme coast is north of Barcelona, closer to the airport. Give the exact address of your hotel when you book, and the driver will take you there.
60 minutes after the plane actually lands. If you are held up at passport control, message the driver in the app chat.
If you booked the name sign option, the driver waits for you in the arrivals hall with a sign showing your name. This option costs €10. Without it, the driver will tell you in the app chat where he is waiting.
The driver tracks the flight number and has the car there for when the plane actually lands. There is no surcharge.
Yes, child seats are free in every class. A seat is required for children 135 cm and under: tick it when you book and tell the driver the child's age in the chat.
Yes. Business takes two medium suitcases, and Van fits the whole group's luggage, a pushchair and beach bags. There is no extra charge for luggage, and the price depends only on the class. More in our article about luggage in Business and Van.
Yes, we work around the clock. There is no night surcharge: the price is the same as by day, and the driver tracks your flight just the same. More in our article about arriving in Barcelona at night.
A planned trip can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the car arrives.
The amount is reserved on your card before the trip and charged after it. Payment is by bank card in the app or on the website.
