To the sea without the station
Sitges is 39 km from Barcelona: seventeen beaches, a white old town and the church of Sant Bartomeu i Santa Tecla on the rock above the sea. The drive takes ~41 min on the C-32.
The local train from Barcelona leaves Sants or Passeig de Gràcia and arrives at a station away from the beaches. With bags, an umbrella and children that means extra legs. A direct transfer takes you from your address to the hotel or a specific beach. The driver collects you at your door and drives straight to the address.

What awaits you in Sitges
Seventeen beaches along three kilometres of shore. The central ones, Sant Sebastià and Ribera, have the promenade and the cafés; the far ones are quieter and emptier. The water shelves gently everywhere.
A small town, everything close by. From the beach to the church of Sant Bartomeu is five minutes on foot, to the Cau Ferrat and Maricel museums ten. You can walk the whole centre in half an hour.
Sitges lives on events. In February the carnival, one of the biggest in Spain. In October the fantastic film festival. In those weeks accommodation is dearer and almost fully booked; reserve well ahead.
The Penedès wine country next door. Vineyards and cava cellars start twenty minutes' drive away. Vilanova i la Geltrú is 20 minutes away: a fishing port and beaches with fewer people.
About the road. From Barcelona 39 km, ~41 min on the C-32. The road runs along the sea through the Garraf massif, a beautiful stretch. The price is fixed when you book.

How long is the drive from Barcelona to Sitges?
~41 min and 39 km on the C-32. On summer weekends allow 15 minutes extra.
Why is this better than the train?
The train takes 40 minutes, but you have to get to the station first, and the station in Sitges is away from the beaches. The transfer takes you from your door to the right spot.
Is the price per car or per person?
Per car. Van takes up to 7 passengers.
Will you take me to a specific beach?
Yes. Sitges stretches for several kilometres; name the beach or hotel when you book.
Can I book the return trip?
Yes, as a separate booking. If you plan several stops, hourly hire works out better.
And late in the evening?
We work around the clock; a night trip does not change the price.
How long does the driver wait for free?
15 minutes from the pick-up time, after that waiting is charged. If you are running late, message support: any waiting beyond that is paid.
When is the money taken?

Can I cancel the trip?
A planned transfer can be cancelled free of charge no later than 24 hours before pick-up. After that, cancellation is charged.
