Barcelona Airport to Sant Cugat del Valles
26 km through the Collserola tunnel. Fixed price known when you book.

Transfer from Barcelona Airport to Sant Cugat del Valles
Sant Cugat sits on the far side of the Collserola ridge from Barcelona, which makes it close in distance and awkward on public transport. There is no direct line from the terminals: every route runs into the city first, then back out through the tunnel on the FGC railway, and the whole chain takes over an hour with luggage and two changes.
By road it is about twenty six kilometres. The driver meets you in the arrivals hall with your name, and the car goes straight through the Vallvidrera tunnel to your address.

Where you'll arrive

What Sant Cugat is like
The town grew around a Benedictine monastery, and the monastery is still its centre. The Romanesque cloister has a hundred and forty four carved capitals, signed by the sculptor Arnau Cadell, who put his own portrait among them.
Around that core is one of the wealthiest towns in Catalonia: low buildings, wide streets, a large weekly market on the monastery square. The ESADE business school campus and a cluster of company headquarters mean a steady flow of business travellers who fly in and want to be at a meeting the same morning.
The Collserola park starts at the edge of town, so trail runners and cyclists arrive here too.
Getting there from the terminals: the options
By train and FGC. The Rodalies line into the city, then a change at Placa Catalunya or Sants onto the FGC S1 or S2. Around an hour and a quarter with the walk between platforms, and both legs are stairs and crowds with a suitcase.
By bus and metro. The Aerobus to Placa Catalunya, then the same FGC train. No faster, and one more transfer.
By meter. Cars are available at the terminals, but the fare depends on traffic in the tunnel and you learn the total at the end.
By private transfer. One car, about half an hour outside rush hour, price agreed before you fly.
Business trips and the morning meeting
Most of our rides to Sant Cugat are people who land early and have somewhere to be by ten. Two things matter for that.
The tunnel is the bottleneck. Between eight and nine thirty the Vallvidrera tunnel backs up in both directions. Twenty seven minutes becomes forty five. If your meeting is fixed, allow for it rather than for the best case.
The flight is tracked. Give us the flight number when booking. If the plane is late the pickup moves by itself, and the free waiting hour starts from the actual landing time, not the scheduled one.
Every transfer includes
🔹 Flight tracking. We follow your flight number and move the pickup ourselves if the plane is late. Nothing to tell us, no surcharge.
🔹 60 minutes of free waiting at the airport, counted from landing. At the cruise port it starts when the ship docks, at Sants station when the train arrives.
🔹 Meet & Greet with a name sign in the arrivals hall. Included in Premium, 10 € in Comfort and Van.
🔹 Nothing is charged upfront. The amount is held on your card at booking and charged only when the ride is completed. Until then the money stays with you.
🔹 Child seat at no cost in every vehicle class. Tick the box when booking.
🔹 WhatsApp support around the clock on +34 646 75 15 29, before and during the ride.
🔹 Fixed price per vehicle, no hidden fees. Not per person, and it does not change with traffic, night hours or luggage. Toll roads are shown separately in the booking.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a direct train from the airport?
No. Every public route goes into Barcelona first and then back out on the FGC railway, which is why the trip takes over an hour with two changes.
How long does the drive take?
About half an hour outside rush hour. Between eight and nine thirty the Collserola tunnel is slow and it can be closer to forty five minutes.
Can the driver take us to a company address?
Yes. We drive to the exact address, including the business parks on the edge of town and the ESADE campus.
What if my flight is delayed?
Give us the flight number when booking. We follow it and move the pickup, and the free waiting hour counts from when you actually land.
How much waiting is included?
Sixty minutes at the airport, free. Waiting beyond that is charged by time and agreed before the trip.
Do you carry child seats?
Yes, free of charge. Add the option when you book.
Is the price per car or per person?
Per car. The fare covers the vehicle and everyone in it, up to its capacity.
Can you collect us from Sant Cugat for the return flight?
Yes. Book the return leg the same way and tell us the departure time; we set the pickup to allow for the tunnel.
Are tolls included?
No. Tolls are not included in the fare and are added if the route uses them.
Can I cancel?
Yes, free of charge up to twenty four hours before the ride.
