Disembarkation day has a fixed shape: you leave the ship in the morning with all your luggage and a flight later the same day. Getting from the terminal at Moll Adossat to Girona airport means ninety nine kilometres across the city and up the AP-7, about an hour and a quarter.
There is no public route that does this in one leg. It would mean a shuttle to the port gate, a bus or metro across Barcelona to Sants, a train to Girona city and then the airport bus, with cases at every change.

Where the ships dock
Barcelona has two cruise areas. Moll Adossat, the main one, has four terminals and takes the large ships. Moll de Barcelona, at the foot of the Ramblas, handles smaller ones.
Which one you are at changes the drive: Moll Adossat is around eighteen kilometres from the airport road and Moll de Barcelona rather less, and you do not choose where the ship berths.
Tell us the ship name when you book. We look up the berth rather than guessing, and the driver waits at the right terminal on the morning.
Getting there: the options
By shuttle and public transport. The port shuttle takes you to the gate, and from there it is a bus or metro to Sants, a train to Girona and a final bus. Four legs with luggage.
By coach. Cruise line transfers go to Barcelona airport, not Girona.
By private transfer. One vehicle, terminal to terminal, with the driver meeting you where the ship berths and the flight time built into the pickup.
Disembarkation morning
Ships empty in waves. Passengers leave by group number over two or three hours, and yours may not be first. Tell us the time you expect to be off and we set the pickup around it.
Give the flight time as well. We work the departure back from it, allowing for the check-in surge at a terminal where flights bunch.
Luggage is the point of the day. A family with six large cases is a van booking, not a car booking. Say so in advance.
If you have hours to spare, the route passes close to Girona city and a stop can be arranged at booking rather than negotiated in the car.
