What you'll find in Andorra
A country between two borders. Andorra sits high in the Pyrenees between Spain and France, and the road climbs steadily for the last hour of the journey.
Grandvalira is the largest ski area in the Pyrenees, with Soldeu and Pas de la Casa as the main entry points. The season generally runs from December to April.
Outside the ski months the draw is hiking, the thermal spa at Caldea and duty-free shopping in the capital. Bring a passport or ID card: Andorra is not in the European Union, and there is a border check.

Yes, bring a passport or national ID card. Andorra is outside the European Union and there is a border control on the way in.
How long is the drive from Sants?
Around two and a half hours in normal conditions. Winter weather on the mountain roads can add to that.
