Reus Airport to Sitges

Transfer from Reus Airport to Sitges

Sitges is sixty seven kilometres up the coast from Reus, around fifty minutes by road. The airport is seasonal and its bus links run to the resorts of its own coast, not north past Tarragona.

By train it is possible but roundabout: into Reus or Tarragona, then a regional service that stops at every town along the way. Over two hours, with the first leg being the awkward one after a flight.

What you'll find in Sitges

Seventeen beaches along three kilometres of front, and a church on a rock between two of them that appears on every photograph of the town. Behind it is a compact old quarter of white houses and narrow lanes.

The town has been an artists' resort since the nineteenth century, when Santiago Rusinol turned his seafront house into the Cau Ferrat museum. It sits next to the Maricel museum, and the two together are the reason Sitges has a cultural reputation rather than only a beach one.

It is also one of the most openly gay-friendly towns on the Mediterranean, with a calendar to match: the February carnival and the October film festival both fill every room in town.

Getting there: the options

By airport bus. Timed to flights and running along its own coast, not north to Sitges.

By train with a change. Into Reus or Tarragona and then a regional service. Over two hours and a lot of stops.

By hire car. Fine for the drive; parking in Sitges in summer is the difficult part, as the old town is largely closed to traffic.

By private transfer. Fifty minutes door to door, with the flight tracked and the driver waiting inside if you are late.

Arriving and staying

The old town is narrow. Some streets are pedestrian and others are barely one car wide, so give the exact address and we get as close as the street allows rather than stopping at the edge.

Festival weeks fill the town. During carnival in February and the film festival in October the approach roads are slow and parking is not a realistic plan.

The free hour runs from landing. Give the flight number and a delay does not cost you the ride.

Barcelona is close. The city is around forty minutes north, so people staying in Sitges often do a day there and back.

Every transfer includes

🔹 Flight tracking. We follow your flight number and move the pickup ourselves if the plane is late. Nothing to tell us, no surcharge.

🔹 60 minutes of free waiting at the airport, counted from landing. At the cruise port it starts when the ship docks, at Sants station when the train arrives.

🔹 Meet & Greet with a name sign in the arrivals hall. Included in Premium, 10 € in Comfort and Van.

🔹 Nothing is charged upfront. The amount is held on your card at booking and charged only when the ride is completed. Until then the money stays with you.

🔹 Child seat at no cost in every vehicle class. Tick the box when booking.

🔹 WhatsApp support around the clock on +34 646 75 15 29, before and during the ride.

🔹 Fixed price per vehicle, no hidden fees. Not per person, and it does not change with traffic, night hours or luggage. Toll roads are shown separately in the booking.

Frequently asked questions

No. Airport services are timed to flights and run along the local coast, not north to Sitges.

How long is the drive?

About fifty minutes from the terminal to the town.

Can you get into the old town?

As close as the street allows. Some lanes are pedestrian or barely a car wide, so give the exact address when booking.

What is there besides the beaches?

The Cau Ferrat and Maricel museums on the seafront, and the church on the rock between the two main beaches.

When is the town busiest?

Carnival in February and the film festival in October fill every room, and the approach roads are slow during both.
