Transfer to the Val d'Aran
From central Barcelona it is 282 km, and the drive takes ~4 hr 6 min. The Val d'Aran lies in the far north-west of Catalonia, on the Atlantic side of the Pyrenees. It is the longest of our trips from Barcelona, and people take it for a simple reason: there is no train, and the bus takes almost the whole day.
With skis, boards or hiking gear the difference is even bigger. A Van takes up to seven people together with their equipment, without splitting the group into two cars. The driver collects you at your door and drives straight to the address.

What awaits you in the Val d'Aran
A valley that faces the other way. The water here flows north to the Atlantic, not south to the Mediterranean, and the climate follows it: greener, wetter, colder in winter.
Baqueira-Beret is the valley's main ski resort and the largest in Spain, more than 160 kilometres of runs. The season usually lasts from December to April.
In summer the valley lives on hiking and rafting. At its southern edge begins the Aigüestortes national park, and an hour's drive away are the Romanesque churches of the Vall de Boí on the UNESCO list. Vielha is the valley's main town, and most transfers end right there.

How long does the drive from Barcelona take?
About four hours, depending on the season and conditions on the mountain roads. In winter the weather can add time.

Do you also go to Baqueira-Beret?
Yes. Baqueira is twenty minutes beyond Vielha, and we take you to the door of your hotel or apartment.
Is there enough room for luggage and a pushchair?
Yes. For bulky luggage choose Van: seven seats and a separate boot.
When is the money taken?
Nothing is taken in advance. The amount is reserved on your card when you book and charged only after the trip is completed.

For the whole car. Comfort is designed for three, Van takes up to seven people, Premium up to three.

How long does the driver wait for free?
60 minutes at the airport, railway station and cruise port, counted from landing, train arrival or ship arrival. At other addresses, 15 minutes.
Do I need child seats and how much do they cost?
Seats are mandatory for children 135 cm and under and free in every class. Tick the option when you book.
Can I book a transfer at night?
Yes, around the clock. No night surcharges, the price is the same as by day.
