Transfer from Barcelona Airport to Calafell

To Calafell, to the ancient fortress by the sea

Calafell is 54 km from Barcelona Airport, and the drive takes ~44 min on the C-32 through the Garraf tunnels. There is no direct train from the airport. By rail you have to reach Sants station and change there onto the R2 Sud line, which makes the whole journey almost an hour and a half. If you are travelling with children and a pushchair, the walk between the platforms at Sants is the hardest part of the trip.

01. A direct ride, with no changes

No trains, no buses, no metro with suitcases. Your holiday starts the moment you get in the car.

02. Landing at night? The driver will be there

We work around the clock, track your flight and wait 60 minutes free from the actual landing time.

03. Right to your hotel entrance

We drive you to the door of your hotel or apartment, even if that is Segur de Calafell or the far end of the promenade.

Prices by class

The price is for the whole car, not per passenger. It is fixed when you book and does not change because of traffic, night hours or a delayed flight.

Booked a transfer from El Prat Airport to our hotel in the Gothic Quarter and it was flawless. The driver was waiting for us at arrivals with a name sign, helped with the luggage, and the price was exactly what the app showed, no surprises, no meter running. After a long flight, it was such a relief to just get in the car and go. Booking took me literally two minutes on the app, no calls, no back-and-forth. Highly recommend ☺️

What awaits you in Calafell

Five kilometres of sand. The beach runs from Calafell to Segur almost without a break. The water is shallow at the edge and the depth builds up gradually, which is why Calafell has long been known as the beach for toddlers. Lifeguards are on duty in summer, and the beaches have held the Blue Flag since 1992.

Three districts. The medieval castle of Santa Creu stands in old Calafell, while the beach quarter and Segur de Calafell with its marina run along the sea.

A fortress more than 2,500 years old. It was built by the Iberians, the people who lived on the coast of Spain before the Romans arrived. The settlement has been rebuilt on the excavation site itself, and it is now an open-air museum. In summer there are night tours.

A poet's house on the seafront. The poet and publisher Carlos Barral lived in a former fisherman's house, which is now a museum. Over the years García Márquez and Vargas Llosa both stayed in Calafell.

Festivals. Every district has its own Festa Major: the celebrations are by the sea at the end of June, in old Calafell in July, and the last festival of the season is in Segur at the end of September.

About the road. The C-32 runs along the coast through the Garraf tunnels. It is free as far as Castelldefels, and the toll section starts after that. The toll points are at Vallcarca and Cubelles.

A Van: it has seven seats, and the pushchair fits in the boot along with the suitcases. A child seat is free of charge in any class and is required for children 135 cm and under: tick it when you book and tell the driver the child's age in the chat.

Will you take me to Segur de Calafell or Bellamar?

Yes, at any time and free of charge. We do not charge for a ride that did not happen.
