Transfer from Sants station to Reus Airport
Reus has a railway station in the town, and the airport is three kilometres outside it with a bus in between. As with most secondary airports, the bus follows the flight schedule rather than the trains, so the two do not connect cleanly.
From Sants it is a hundred and five kilometres, a little under two hours by road. By train and bus the journey is comparable in time when the connection works and much longer when it does not.

What the airport is like
It is a seasonal airport, busy from spring to autumn and quiet in winter, serving charter and low cost flights to the resorts of its own coast.
The terminal is small, which is an advantage on arrival and a problem on departure: when three flights check in together the queues fill the hall, and when nothing is departing there is little inside to wait in.
It sits between Reus and the coast, about fifteen minutes from the sea and a little over an hour from Barcelona.
Getting there: the options
By train and bus. Sants to Reus station, then the airport bus. The schedules are not designed to meet each other, so the wait varies.
By coach. Direct services exist in season, mostly aimed at package travellers and leaving from the Nord station rather than Sants.
By hire car. Adds a return and a fuel stop to a departure day.
By private transfer. Under two hours, concourse to terminal door, with the pickup set from your flight time.
Timing a departure
Give us the flight time at booking. We work the pickup back from it, including the stretch of the AP-7 that slows on Friday afternoons in summer.
Small terminal, sudden queues. Two hours before departure is comfortable here. Ninety minutes works when nothing else is checking in and not otherwise.
We can meet you on the concourse with your name if you are coming off a train, and fifteen minutes of waiting are free.
Groups and luggage. Eight people with cases need a van rather than a car, and that is easier to arrange at booking than at the kerb.
