From Sants station it is 105 km, and the drive takes ~1 hr 20 min. Reus itself has a railway station, but the airport is three kilometres from the town, with a bus between them. As at most regional airports, the bus follows the flight timetable, not the trains, so the connection is uneven.

Reus airport from the inside
It is a seasonal airport: busy from spring to autumn and almost empty in winter, serving charters and low-cost airlines flying to the resorts on its own coast.
The terminal is small, which is a plus on arrival and a minus on departure: when three flights check in at once the queue fills the whole hall, and when there are no departures there is little to do inside.
The airport lies between Reus and the sea, fifteen minutes from the coast and a little over an hour from Barcelona.
How to work out the timing
Give your departure time when you book. We count the pick-up back from it, including the AP-7 stretch that slows down on summer Fridays.
A small terminal, sudden queues. Two hours before departure is comfortable here. An hour and a half only works when nobody else is checking in.
