Reus airport is 106 km from central Barcelona, on the C‑32 and AP‑7. The direct Monbus coach runs only from Sants bus station and follows the seasonal flight schedule, and the train only takes you to Reus station, where you need the local L50 bus. How to work out when to leave
You need to be at the airport early. With most airlines check-in closes 45 minutes before departure, and before that you need to drop off your bags and go through security. Your airline gives the exact time its desk closes.
From central Barcelona the drive takes about 1 hour 21 minutes. From the coastal towns it takes longer. At rush hour, between 8:00 and 10:00 and between 18:00 and 20:00, add fifteen to twenty minutes.
There is one small terminal. It mostly handles seasonal low-cost flights. Queues build up when several flights check in at once. Give your flight number when you book, and the driver will drop you at the entrance you need.
Early flights are routine here. We work around the clock, so a pick-up at four in the morning is no problem. It is best to book the day before.
Luggage and space. A saloon car takes two medium suitcases, and a seven-seat Van takes seven. If you have a lot of luggage, take a Van: it costs more than a saloon, but the whole group and all the luggage travel in one car.
About booking. The price is fixed when you book and does not change with traffic or night hours. Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the car arrives.
