To the Costa Brava without the bus
Lloret de Mar is 74 km from Barcelona: the main resort of the Costa Brava with a long promenade, coves between the cliffs and pine-covered slopes. The drive takes ~1 hr 9 min.
The scheduled bus leaves Estació del Nord, stops along the way and drops you at the bus station away from the beaches. From there with suitcases it is either uphill or a taxi. A direct transfer takes you from your address in Barcelona to the hotel entrance. The driver collects you at your door and drives straight to the address.

What awaits you in Lloret de Mar
The main beach and a dozen coves. Platja de Lloret stretches over a kilometre along the promenade. But the small coves between the cliffs are more interesting: Sa Caleta with the castle on the bluff, Fenals, Canyelles - reached on foot or a few minutes' drive.
A coastal path links the whole shoreline. The Camí de Ronda is a walking route over the cliffs between the coves. To Tossa it takes about five hours, but you can do any stretch and come back.
The town changes with the seasons. In summer it is a noisy resort with bars until morning. In May and September it is an ordinary seaside town with warm water and free terraces. In winter much is closed.
The Santa Clotilde gardens above the sea. An Italian Renaissance-style park on the cliff, with staircases and views of the water. One of the few quiet corners at the height of the season.
Tossa in 23 minutes, Blanes in 18. Both nearby and both quieter than Lloret.
About the road. From Barcelona 74 km, ~1 hr 9 min. If you fly into Girona, it is only 29 km and ~35 min.

Why is this better than the bus?
The bus leaves Estació del Nord with stops and drops you at Lloret bus station, which is away from the beaches. The transfer takes you from your door straight to the hotel.
Is the price per car or per person?
Per car. Van takes up to 7 passengers.
Can I stop in Tossa or Blanes?
Yes, they are nearby along the coast. For a route with stops a car for several hours works out better.
Do you pick up from any district of Barcelona?
