The fishing harbour. Cambrils sits on the Costa Daurada next door to Salou, but it is far quieter and much less crowded. The busiest spot in town is the harbour. Early in the morning the fishing boats come back with the catch, and in the evening locals and holidaymakers alike come out to walk along the seafront. The thing most people come here for is the fish restaurants by the quay. The fish they serve often comes from the same catch the boats brought in that morning.

The beaches. The most famous beaches in Cambrils are Platja del Regueral and Platja de Vilafortuny. The sand is fine, the water is easy to walk into, and there are usually no big waves near the shore. That is why families with small children often come here.

Close to PortAventura. PortAventura is just a short drive away. That is why many people stay in Cambrils: they go to the park during the day and come back in the evening to a quiet town and dinner at the harbour.
