Santa Susanna is a strip of resort hotels between the railway and the sea, with a sandy beach a few kilometres long in front of them. It is quieter than Calella and known as a family resort. From Barcelona airport it is 74 km, and the car gets you there in ~1 hr 1 min.
The right entrance. Many hotels here have their entrance on the promenade side. Tell us the hotel name when you book, and the driver goes to the right one.
No shuttle round other hotels. Shared shuttles stop at one hotel after another, and the train means a change in Barcelona. A private car goes from the terminal to your hotel only.
Children and groups. Child seats are free in every class. A family of up to seven with luggage fits in the Van; two or three people travel in Econom, Eco or Business.

Santa Susanna beyond the hotel
A quiet resort. Santa Susanna has fewer bars than Calella and a wide promenade along the sea, which is why families choose it.
The beach. Wide sand and a gentle slope into the water, good for small children.
Neighbours. Pineda de Mar lies just south, then Calella with its lighthouse and pedestrian street. Malgrat de Mar is the next town north.
The road. From the airport the car goes round Barcelona and then along the coast on the C-32. Calella is a little closer to the airport (70 km), Malgrat a little further (82 km).
