From the ship straight into the city

Central Barcelona is 5 km from the cruise terminals. The port is a closed area: a paid shuttle runs between the Moll Adossat terminals and the city as far as the Columbus monument, and from there you have to find transport with your suitcases. The drive takes about 20 minutes, and the price, from €21, is shown before you book.

What awaits you in the centre

The centre is made up of five different districts. The Eixample with Gaudí's houses and wide avenues, the Gothic Quarter with its narrow streets, the Raval with the Boqueria market close by, El Born with the Picasso Museum, and Barceloneta right by the sea. From the cruise terminal to any of them takes ~20 min.

You can cover more on foot than you might think. Casa Batlló and Casa Milà are five minutes apart on Passeig de Gràcia, and the Sagrada Família is a 20 to 25-minute walk from them. Park Güell is further away, up on a hill, so it is better to drive there.

Lunch is late here. In many restaurants the kitchen closes after lunch and only reopens late in the evening. In between, only the tourist places on the main streets are open, and they are usually not as good.

The sea is within the city. Barceloneta beach is a twenty-minute walk from the Gothic Quarter. The bathing season with lifeguards runs from late March to early October, and they are on duty every day from late May to mid-September.

Tibidabo: the lookout above the city. A hill 33 minutes from the centre, with a view over the whole of Barcelona and the sea. At the top there is a vintage amusement park and a church.

About the road. From the cruise terminal to the centre is 5 km, ~20 min along the Ronda Litoral. At rush hour add 15-20 minutes. The price is fixed when you book and does not depend on traffic.

The driver waits for free for 60 minutes after the ship arrives. It is the same at the airport, from when the plane lands, and at the railway station, from when the train arrives. At other addresses it is 15 minutes. If the ship comes in late, message support and we will move the pick-up.

When is the money taken for the transfer?

The amount is reserved on your card before the trip and charged after it. Payment is by bank card in the app or on the website.

Can I cancel the transfer from the port to Barcelona city centre?

A planned trip can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the car arrives.

Where will the driver meet me at Barcelona cruise port?
