What to know about the cruise port

The terminals are a long way apart. Cruise ships in Barcelona berth at Moll Adossat. The terminals are spread out along the quay over several kilometres, and that is not a distance you can walk with suitcases. The name of your terminal is on your cruise ticket. Enter it when you book, and the driver will take you right to the entrance you need.

Set off with time to spare. Ships usually sail in the evening, but boarding closes noticeably earlier. On summer weekends a queue of cars and coaches builds up at the entrance to the port. So add a little time to what the calculator shows.

Getting to the terminal. The terminals at Moll Adossat stand a long way from the city, and you cannot walk there, let alone with suitcases. You can get there on the port bus, which leaves from the Columbus monument, or by car straight to the terminal.

How long is the drive from the centre of Barcelona to the cruise port?

~14 min over 5 km in normal conditions. In summer and at weekends there are hold-ups at the entrance to the port.

Which terminal will the driver come to?

Can I arrange pick-up at any address in Barcelona?

Yes: a hotel, a flat, an apartment or an office. Enter the pick-up point when you book.

What time should I leave to make my ship?

The drive takes ~14 min. Boarding closes noticeably before the ship sails, so allow extra time on top of the drive for hold-ups and the queue at security.

Will cruise luggage fit in the car?

Comfort takes two standard suitcases. Cruise cases are larger than usual, so for a group choose Van: seven seats and a roomy boot.

Is the transfer price per person or per car?

Per car. The fare covers the whole car and everyone in it: two of you or four of you pay the same.

How long does the driver wait free of charge at the pick-up address?

15 minutes from the agreed time. If you are running late, message us in the chat.

Can I reach the port by metro?

Not directly. The metro goes as far as Drassanes, and from there you need the port bus from the Columbus monument - with suitcases that means two changes.

Are there child seats in the car?

Yes, free of charge in any class. A seat is required for children up to and including 135 cm; tick the option when you book.

Can I cancel my transfer booking?

Yes, a planned trip can be cancelled free of charge at any time.
