Madrid and the towns around it
Madrid is the only major Spanish city without a coast, and the logic of journeys here is different. From Barajas Airport people head not to a resort but to the centre or a station: a quarter of an hour to Chamartin, half an hour to the city centre.
The other half of the demand is the old towns around the capital. Toledo is an hour away, Segovia an hour and ten, Avila an hour and a half. All three are on the World Heritage list, and all three are usually seen in a single day with a return to Madrid in the evening. For a trip like that a car with a driver for the day works better than two separate transfers.
Barajas is a large airport with four terminals; a shuttle bus runs between T1 and T4 and the ride can take twenty minutes. We ask you to state your terminal when booking: the driver brings the car to the exact place where you come out.
We are expanding our network here - five routes are open so far.
In Madrid we also work by the hour: a car with a driver for a few hours or a full day suits better when the plan is Toledo and back, or several stops around the city in a row. The minimum booking is three hours, after that it is counted by the hour with no surcharge for leaving the city.
At the airport the driver waits an hour free of charge from the moment the plane lands, and we track the flight number ourselves. The price is fixed at booking and does not change with traffic.
