See your driver before pickup: how tracking works
The uncomfortable part of arriving in an unfamiliar city is not the flight. It is the twenty minutes after it, when you are looking for someone you have never met in a hall full of people.
The tracking link removes that gap.
What arrives and when
Shortly before your pickup time you receive an SMS with a link. Opening it in any browser shows a map with the vehicle's current position, the driver's name, the vehicle model and the licence plate.
No app download, no account, no password. The link works on any phone.
What you can do with it
You can see how far away the vehicle is, which answers the question people actually have: do I hurry, or do I have time for the bathroom.
You can also contact the driver directly from the same page. This matters when something has gone differently than planned: baggage is delayed, passport control is slow, or you have simply come out of a different exit.
Where the app adds something
The tracking link covers a single ride. The app keeps your booking history, saved addresses and vehicle preferences, which is useful if you travel here regularly.
For a one-off transfer, the SMS link is enough. You can download the app if you would rather have everything in one place.
