What to know on arrival in Vigo
One terminal for four airlines. According to Aena, as of 3 November 2026, four airlines operate at Vigo airport: Iberia and Air Europa fly to Madrid, Vueling to Barcelona, and Binter to Gran Canaria and Tenerife North. The airport has one terminal, and passengers from all flights come out into the same arrivals hall.
Almost all passengers fly within Spain. According to Aena, 1,114,810 passengers passed through Vigo airport in 2025, 5.3% more than in 2024. Of them, 52,952 travelled on international flights.
The AP-9 to Pontevedra and the AG-57 to Baiona are toll roads. At the AUDASA 2026 rates, a car on the AP-9 between Pontevedra and Vigo (Puxeiros) pays €5.05. The AG-57 Val Miñor motorway towards Baiona is tolled too. Toll roads are not included in the transfer price: you pay the driver back on the spot, against the receipt. The Cíes Islands need a permit in summer. Boats to the Cíes Islands, in the Atlantic Islands of Galicia National Park, leave from Vigo. In Holy Week and from 15 May to 15 September you need a Xunta de Galicia online permit, obtained in advance, to visit the islands, and places are limited. If you are flying to Vigo for the Cíes, check your dates on the Xunta website before you buy your tickets.
