What to know on arrival in Asturias
One terminal, with arrivals and check-in on floor 0. Asturias Airport has a single terminal, and the arrivals hall and the check-in desks are on the same floor, floor 0. You will not need to move between terminals here.
The airport is at exit 406 off the A-8 motorway. Asturias Airport lies on the coast west of Avilés, in Santiago del Monte, in the municipality of Castrillón. You reach the terminal from exit 406 of the A-8, and the ALSA bus to Avilés takes 20-25 minutes.
ALSA bus departures can be held for up to 15 minutes. According to Aena, this is done when an arriving flight is shown on the board. The bus stop shelters are on floor 0, a few metres to the right of the main door of the arrivals area. Tickets for buses after 21:00 are sold only on board.
Air Europa has been flying to Madrid again since June 2026. According to Aena, Air Europa had not flown to Asturias Airport since the pandemic. It now has four flights a day between Asturias and Madrid: an arrival and a departure in the morning and in the evening. Aena currently lists Air Europa, Binter Canarias, Iberia, Volotea, Vueling and Wizz Air as the airport's airlines.
