How much does a car with a driver cost for a day in Barcelona?
Hourly hire starts at 40 € per hour in Econom, 45 € in Eco, 65 € in Business and Van, and 95 € in Premium and Bus. A full day is 400 € Econom, 450 € Eco, 650 € Business, 665 € Van, 950 € Premium, 950 € Bus. The price is per car, not per person, and you know it before the ride.
What is the shortest booking I can make for a car with a driver?
The minimum booking for a car with a driver is three hours. After that it is charged by the hour. If you need the car for more than ten hours, the daily rate works out better: 650 € for the day in Business instead of the hourly rate.
Does the driver wait for me between stops?
Yes, that is the whole point of hourly hire. The car is yours for the entire paid time: the driver waits at the entrance or in the nearest car park, and your things and shopping stay on board.
How many hours should I book for trips out of town?
Sitges takes ~44 min to reach, Girona ~1 hr 24 min. With the drive there and back plus time on the spot, six hours or more is usual. Mention distant stops when you book so that the hours are counted correctly.
How many people fit in the car?
Econom, Eco, Business and Premium seat up to three passengers, Van up to seven, Bus up to sixteen. The price is per car, not per person.
Which cities is hourly hire available in?
Hourly hire is available all over Spain - Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia, Malaga, Bilbao and other cities. The rate is the same everywhere.
What is included in the price and what is paid separately?
The price covers the driver, the car for the time you have booked and the child seat. Toll roads are not included: if the route uses one, the toll is paid back to the driver on the spot, against the receipt.
How is a booking over several days worked out?
Hire is priced by the day: 400 € Econom, 450 € Eco, 650 € Business, 665 € Van, 950 € Premium, 950 € Bus per day. It suits a business trip, a programme around the country or looking after visiting guests. Give us the dates when you book and we will price the whole period.
How do I pay?
You can pay by card in the app. The amount is reserved on your card before the trip and charged after it.
What if my plans change?
You can cancel without a penalty up to 24 hours before the car arrives. Within the hours you have paid for the route is yours to change: add a stop or head somewhere else - just tell the driver on the spot.
